Supported file types and size limits
Photos, documents and video can all be attached to an incident. Files can be up to 1GB, and uploads happen in 25MB chunks — so a large video clip over a shaky venue wifi connection resumes cleanly instead of failing part-way through.
The upload process
From an open incident, choose Add evidence and select your file. You'll see progress as it uploads, and can carry on filling in the rest of the report while it completes in the background.
How malware scanning works
Every file is scanned automatically as part of the upload — this happens without any action from you. If a file fails the scan it's rejected rather than attached, protecting both your account and anyone who later views or downloads that evidence.
Playing back video evidence
Video clips attached to an incident play back directly in the browser — there's no need to download the file first just to check its contents. Evidence stays encrypted and private to authenticated users with permission to view that incident.
