Setting up Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on

Last updated: 11 August 2026.

If your organisation already uses Microsoft 365 or Azure AD, single sign-on means your team logs into E-DOB with the same account they already use for email.

What you will need

Your Microsoft administrator needs to register E-DOB as an application in your Entra ID tenant and provide three values: the Tenant ID, the Client ID, and a Client Secret.

Setting it up

Enter these three values in E-DOB's admin panel under Settings → Single Sign-On. Auto-provisioning can be configured by department, so a new starter added to your Entra ID directory automatically gets an E-DOB account in the right department the first time they sign in.

Testing before rollout

Use the test connection option before switching your whole team over, to confirm authentication is working correctly while it only affects one login, not everyone's.
