E-DOB installs like a native app without going through an app store. On iPhone or iPad, open E-DOB in Safari, tap the Share icon, then choose "Add to Home Screen". An E-DOB icon appears on your home screen alongside your other apps.
Once installed, opening it from the home screen launches full-screen with no browser address bar, so it feels like a dedicated app rather than a website. Long-press the icon for a shortcut straight to New Incident, skipping the extra navigation a browser tab would need.
If you lose signal, E-DOB shows a clear offline page rather than a blank or broken screen — reporting itself needs a live connection so timestamps and evidence stay genuine, but you will always know why, not just see something not working.
