Camera OCR is for the paper still floating around most operations — a legacy incident pad, a contractor's handwritten note, a form filled in before a phone was to hand.
When to use it
Anywhere a handwritten form already exists and needs to become a proper digital record: end-of-shift paperwork from contractors, historical logs you are digitising, or a quick paper note taken during a fast-moving incident.
How to trigger it
Open a new incident, choose Camera OCR, and photograph the form. The AI reads the handwriting and drafts the incident fields from it — type, location, description and so on.
What to expect
As with any AI-drafted report, review the fields before saving. Poor handwriting, faint pen, or a damaged or creased form can all reduce accuracy, so treat the draft as a starting point and correct anything that does not match the original form.
